Come prepared to spend the full day at Vanguard. We will not have people go home after apprentice.
- Finish "Archimedes and the Door of Science". Come prepared to talk about it.
- Read the myth Pygmalion, found here
- Watch the movie "My Fair Lady"
- Make a Venn Diagram (click here to get more information) comparing and contrasting Pygmalion and My Fair Lady
- Create an Olympic event for the class. We are having our first Olympics during class. Come prepared to participate (tennis shoes and jacket). We will compete in all the events you create. Have Fun, some examples are: bubblegum blowing, three legged race, egg races, memory with the notecards. Just remember your need to bring whatever supplies you need. Feel free to make them mental not just physical.
