Good Day Vanguard. You know Brother Halley and the spirit of creating your life. Well this second semester is going to do just that. We will still have some readings and assignments but we will now be spending the majority of our time on our student films. This week assignments and study will be to get you up to par on the basics of filming, camera angles, lighting, common mistakes and flow of a film. These tutorials will be very important for your entire video team. Special thanks to the different people who share the information in these videos.

Take notes on the 5 areas of screenplay format and put in your notes
Register for Celtx at celtx.com. Go to email and confirm registration. Go to Celtx.com. Make a new project called Superhero"your name". Example: "Superhero Brian" Choose the Video format from the drop down. Hit "create". Choose the top option called "Script Superhero Brian". This will begin your writing. Write a scene where a crime has taken place and you come and save the day as a superhero. Be creative. Use the format learned in the video you just watched.

Now make a squares on your paper and draw out the scenes of your "Superhero" scene.

BECOME AND SERVE: 
Watch a family favorite film. Write in your notebook which movie you watched. Make a list of all 20 camera shots. Check off or cross out each camera shot as you see them throughout the movie. If you cross out all 20 camera shots celebrate with a treat.

JOURNEYMAN/MASTER:
Plan on coming to all of Journeyman and Master. You will be meeting with your Video Teams for your individual short films. It will be full of brainstorming and over your story and ideas of your film. I was so impressed with your 80's videos. You learned some great things that will help in your awesome project.
