Create your name as a work of art that we will keep in class. Use any medium
(except
for computer), markers, pencil, paint, glitter, cutouts, wood, legos, etc. Be
unique, creative and different.

Watch A Bugs Life, Pixar
While
watching have a note book out, write down the things Flick does that break out
of normal thinking. What criticisms does he get and from whom on his journey to
the end of the movie, be specific? What are some unique ideas you have had? Why
do you think we sometimes keep ideas to ourselves, or don’t follow through on
them?
BECOME/SERVE:
A:
Every time someone shares an idea with you this week, make an effort to be
encouraging and supportive. Write down how it makes you and the other person
feel. Bring that experience to class.

KNOW/UNDERSTAND:
Find
someone you know that you think is a little peculiar or different. Look deeper
into their behavior find out why they like the things they do, listen to the
music they do, or play the sport they play etc. Write a letter to them sharing
why you think they are unique, compliment them, build them up. Come to class
and be prepared to share your experience.

At this point in your life, if you had no restrictions, financial barriers,
etc., and you could do or become anything, what would you do?

KNOW/UNDERSTAND:

Choose your favorite artist. Make a ten question trivia about them. Start with
hard questions and continue to easy so we all have a really good chance at
guessing it by the end. Have fun with it.
Find
someone you know that is living their purpose and doing what they love and
interview them. Here are some suggested questions to get you started.
• When did you discover what your
purpose was?
• What challenges or barriers did
you have to overcome in order to get to this point?
• What is it that you love about
what you do?
• How does it make you feel to know
that you are in harmony with your purpose?
Take
a picture of your chosen person next to their work and come prepared to share
your experience with the class.
